Physiotherapist

Miranda completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree at the University of Lethbridge, where she worked with a variety of sports teams as a trainer. Miranda then completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alberta. She loves to work with a variety of populations from athletes to those just starting their rehabilitation journey. She has experience working with musculoskeletal injuries such as strains and sprains, as well as chronic pain patients, including those recovering from motor vehicle accidents. In the past she has worked closely with post-operative rehab for knee surgeries such as ACL and MPFL reconstructions.

Miranda loves to work with patients to create a plan that works for them to get them back to the activities they love. She works towards their end goals by utilizing manual therapy skills, education, and specific individualized exercise plans. Additional training that she has includes chronic pain and manual therapy courses. She has a special interest in knee injuries, but will always take on a new challenge.

Miranda loves the outdoors, and you can usually find her in the mountains on the weekends. Outside of work, she also enjoys going to the gym, playing hockey, boxing, or finding a new houseplant to add to her collection. She loves to try new hiking trails so be sure to give her your recommendations!
