Bena completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree at the University of Calgary, where she then spent two years working at a private clinic as a Kinesiologist. Shortly after, she returned to school and completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alberta. She has experience working with a variety of conditions in both the hospital and community-based settings with musculoskeletal injuries (ie. Strains, sprains, post-fractures), and neurological conditions (ie. Post-stroke, parkinsons, MS, etc). 

Bena enjoys the challenge of putting together pieces of the puzzle to help determine the most effective treatment plan. She merges her manual therapy skills with an individualized exercise program to work alongside you to achieve your specific goals. 

Bena has a strong passion to help a wide range of individuals with their recovery and has completed additional training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. Recently she started diving into the world of women's pelvic health, and pre/post-natal care. She enjoys working with wrist and hand injuries as well. 

When she’s not at the clinic, Bena enjoys spending time with her toddler, running, snowboarding, hiking, and reading a good book by the window.
