Aly MacLean, MSc.PT.
Physiotherapist
After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors of Kinesiology, Aly completed her Master’s of Physical Therapy at McGill University in Montreal.
Along with treating many types of musculoskeletal injuries, she is also our Women’s Pelvic Floor physiotherapist and has worked with many women experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction (pain, incontinence, urgency, post-natal conditions, etc.)
Aly is here to help you get back to the activities you enjoy. She uses many assessment and treatment techniques along with individualized exercise prescription to help you reach your physiotherapy goals.
Outside of the clinic Aly loves snowboarding and taking dance classes whenever she can.

Lisa Goodgrove, MSc.PT., CAFCI (Currently on Maternity Leave)
Physiotherapist
Lisa graduated in 2010 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Since finishing her master’s degree Lisa has completed a variety of post-graduate training in advanced manual therapy courses, as well as obtaining certification in Integrated Dry Needling and Acupuncture.
Manual therapy, needling techniques and specific exercise prescription are the main skills Lisa will use to help you achieve your goals, whether they be to decrease pain or maximize function. In addition to orthopedic issues, she has taken a special interest in dizziness. She has training in assessing and treating benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and other vestibular disorders. Recently, Lisa has expanded in this area by adding concussion management to her clinical practice.
Before moving to Calgary, Lisa worked in Salmon Arm, B.C. She is an avid soccer player and also enjoys a variety of activities including hiking, golf, yoga and snowboarding.

Bena Diec, MSc.PT. (Currently on Maternity Leave)
Physiotherapist
Bena completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree at the University of Calgary (2014), where she then spent two years working at a private clinic as a Kinesiologist. Shortly after, she returned to school and completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alberta in 2019. She has experience working with a variety of conditions in both the hospital and community-based settings with musculoskeletal injuries (ie. Strains, sprains, post-fractures), and neurological conditions (ie. Post-stroke, parkinsons, MS, etc).
Bena enjoys the challenge of putting together pieces of the puzzle to help determine the most effective treatment plan. She merges her manual therapy skills with an individualized exercise program to work alongside you to achieve your specific goals. Additional training that she has includes trigger point dry needling, manual therapy courses, and concussion rehabilitation. She has a special interest in wrist and hand therapy.
When she’s not at the clinic, Bena enjoys running, snowboarding, hiking, and reading a good book by the window.

Emma Spelt, MSc.PT., BSc
Physiotherapist
Emma received her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University, after completing a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from the University of Toronto. She has a strong interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries, and uses a client-centered and evidence-based treatment approach, involving functional exercise, manual therapy and education.
Having rehabbed multiple injuries as a young athlete herself, Emma understands the frustration and emotional toll injuries can have, as well as the opportunity they provide to develop better movement patterns and injury prevention strategies. Emma loves helping clients of all ages and abilities achieve their goals and get back to doing what they love.
Emma has previously worked in orthopedic private practice in Toronto, and has experience working with and treating a variety of conditions and clients. As an avid runner herself, Emma has experience and a particular interest in treating running injuries and working with athletes.
Emma has completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program, and has completed additional training in manual therapy and running injury rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Emma enjoys all things outdoors, particularly running, cross-country skiing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, and travel.

Jenna Westover, MSc.PT. , BKin
Physiotherapist
Jenna completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta, after finishing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary, with a focus in Exercise and Health Physiology. Prior to her career as a physiotherapist, she worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Jenna has always been active and participated in several sports growing up, most notably swimming and ice hockey.
As a physiotherapist, Jenna's primary goal is to get patients back to doing activities that they love, whether that is playing elite sports, or spending time with their grandchildren. Jenna enjoys treating a variety of age groups and injuries, but thrives when working with older adults, weekend warriors, and the active population. Jenna enjoys treating a variety of injuries, including concussion, sport related injuries, chronic conditions, and musculoskeletal injuries.
Jenna strongly believes in the power of exercise and movement as medicine and always uses a patient-centered approach to treatment. She will work with you to determine meaningful goals, and create an individualized treatment plan in order to achieve what you want out of physiotherapy. She provides patients with thorough education to understand their condition, uses hands-on techniques and modalities to supplement therapeutic exercise programs.
Outside of the clinic, Jenna enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active through weightlifting, swimming, and trying out new exercise classes, cooking, and watching hockey.

Bill Melathopolous, R.M.T.
Massage Therapist
Bill is a graduate of Alberta Massage Training in 2011 and the Turner Institute of Orthopedic Massage in 2013. He is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) with 2200 hours of training.
Bill enjoys working with a wide range of clientele. His objective as a therapist is to provide the most focused and appropriate treatment plan for each client. Continued education is not just beneficial for Bill, but for his clients as well. In fact, he heard a Doctor once say, “learning never stops”. As such, Bill has recently received a certificate of completion for Thai Foot Reflexology.
Bill also works at The University of Calgary Med Skills Centre as a Standardized Patient, working with doctors and medical students. Being in a hospital setting is another example of how Bill is expanding his knowledge for his practice.
In his spare time, Bill love to cycle, hike in the mountains and going to the movies.

Rick Hofmann, R.M.T
Massage Therapist
Rick is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) (2011). He is a current Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with 2200 plus hours of training and a standing member of the National Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). Prior to this, Rick graduated from the Calgary College of Holistic Health at the University of Calgary (2007) specializing in Swedish relaxation techniques. Rick is also an accredited Bowen Therapist using the original Bowen Technique (2008).
As a conscientious therapist, Rick always utilizes various techniques including: Deep Tissue Treatment, Trigger Point Therapy, PNF Facilitated Stretching, Fascial or Connective tissue techniques, Joint Mobilizations as well as Swedish Relaxation Massage in accordance with situational treatments. Rick enjoys a clinical team environment to allow for referral and a greater recuperability to ones health.
Therapeutic Massage, repetitive strain disorders, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ), postural ergonomic recognition are just a few of the many treatments provided.
As an athlete and former personal trainer, Rick has a sound understanding of exercise form and function.

Scott Stenz, R.M.T
Massage Therapist
Scott is a graduate of The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), Halifax, Nova Scotia, graduating with honours in the 2200 hour massage therapy program. He is a member of Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of New Brunswick (CMTNB).
Scott’s interest in massage therapy stems from his athletic background. He is an avid runner, skier, climber and overall mountain sports enthusiast. Before becoming a massage therapist, massage therapy was an integral part of Scott’s recovery from a back injury sustained while rock climbing. This experience left Scott with a deep sense of empathy for and desire to help others in similar situations.
Scott enjoys taking a holistic approach to health and wellness and focuses on working with his clients to ensure they leave feeling engaged and self empowered to be their best.
